# Show the calendar on a page

On **Clink C7 → Calendar → General**, copy a shortcode and paste it into a Shortcode block.

The first shortcode opens in grid view. Visitors can still switch to list or calendar with the buttons on the page. Grid and list load more events as they scroll. Calendar view shows the month, and clicking a day opens that day's events.

## How far visitors can page

**Months ahead** defaults to 12. **Months behind** defaults to 0, which starts at the current month. Both accept 0 to 24. This limits the month control on the page. It does not delete older events.

## Filters

The page can filter by month, category, and location. A category or location filter appears only after you check at least one item on the Categories or Locations tab. If none are checked, that dropdown is omitted.

The filters are kept in the page address, so a filtered view can be linked directly. The parameters are `view`, `ff_month`, `ff_category`, and `ff_location`.
