# Install and connect Products

## Before you start

Add to cart sends the item to the Commerce7 cart, and member-only products link to your club page and to `/profile/login/`. Have **Commerce7 for WordPress** installed and connected so checkout and login work.

## 1. Install the app in Commerce7

1. In the Commerce7 **App Store**, install **Advanced Products**.
2. Open the app's **Settings** tab.
3. Download `clink-c7-products.zip` and copy the connection key. It starts with `clk_`.

## 2. Install and connect

1. In WordPress, upload and activate the plugin from **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**.
2. Go to **Clink C7 → Products**.
3. Paste the key into **Commerce7 connection** and click **Save and connect**.

Product sync and add to cart stay off until the plugin is connected. Use the key from Advanced Products. A Calendar or Reservations key is rejected.

If the key is incomplete, the app is not installed, or the key was regenerated, the connection card explains which. Click **Test connection** after you correct it. Clearing the key turns sync and add to cart off.
