# What Advanced Reservations does

Advanced Reservations replaces the standard Commerce7 reservation widget with one that guides guests to a time they can actually book.

The standard widget is tied to one experience. It lets guests pick any date and shows the same list of times every day, even when nothing is open. This widget reads each experience's weekly schedule from Commerce7.

## What guests see

- Days with no online times are greyed out.
- The time list only includes times marked **Allow customers to reserve online** for that day.
- On the current day, times inside the Commerce7 lead time are disabled, so a guest cannot pick a time that has passed or is too soon.
- If the chosen date has no openings, or today's times have all passed, the widget says so and offers a link to the next available date.
- Picking a time sends the guest to the Commerce7 checkout.

## What you can control

- Which Commerce7 details appear with the form: title, price, image, and description.
- How far ahead each experience can be booked, and the guest limit.
- Other experiences to offer when the main one has nothing close to the time the guest asked for.
- Every button label, field label, and guest-facing message.
- Colors for the main experience and the other experiences.
- An optional agreement checkbox, such as an age confirmation or a waiver.
- Analytics events sent to Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager.

Each widget is placed with a shortcode, so different pages can feature different experiences.
