The status cards at the top of Clink C7 → Calendar show the connection, how many events are published, when the last sync ran, and when the next hourly sync is due.
Run a sync #
Click Sync Now. Sync uses the settings that are already saved. If you have unsaved changes, save them first, or confirm that you want to sync with the saved settings.
There is a second button at Events → Sync Events. It runs the same Commerce7 and Google Calendar sync.
What comes in from Commerce7 #
Only Event Ticket products are imported. For each one the plugin stores:
- Title, description, and teaser
- Event date and start time, in the site’s timezone
- End time, when the product has an
event-end-timevalue in its Commerce7 metadata - Price, from the first variant
- Featured image
- Inventory location, or Offsite when the ticket has no location
- Collections, which become event categories
Commerce7 is the source of truth. The next sync replaces the title, description, date, time, price, image, location, and categories. Change those in Commerce7, then sync.
An event ticket that disappears from Commerce7 is deleted from WordPress after a sync that successfully reads the full product feed. A sync that stops partway does not delete events.
Event URL #
On the General tab, Event URL slug is the base for single event pages. The default is events, so a page lives at /events/event-name/. Permalinks refresh when you change it.
