If Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager is on the site, the widget sends events when a guest:
- changes the date, time, or party size
- checks availability
- picks a time slot
Each event can include the selected date, selected time, guest count, experience name and ID, and the option the guest chose. When the guest picks a time from one of the other experiences, the event is flagged so you can see how many bookings an alternate experience caught.
The default event names are:
res_widget_date_changedres_widget_time_changedres_widget_guests_changedres_widget_check_availabilityres_widget_time_selected
Parameter names default to selected_date, selected_time, guest_count, experience_id, experience_title, experience_option_id, experience_option_title, and is_extra_experience.
Rename any of them under Clink C7 → Reservations → Analytics if your reports already use different names. Leave the defaults if they do not.
