Product analytics and templates

Analytics #

Go to Clink C7 → Products → Analytics. The plugin pushes ecommerce events to the data layer. The default names match the standard set:

• view_item when a product is viewed
• add_to_cart when a variant is added
• view_item_list when a grid or archive is viewed
• select_item when a product is chosen from a list

Change a name only when your analytics setup expects a different one.

Templates #

Copy a template from the plugin’s templates folder into ff-c7-products in your theme. The theme copy is used instead, and it is kept when the plugin updates.

• grid-ff_c7_product.php for a card in the grid and on archives
• content-single-ff_c7_product.php for the body of a product page and for the single-product shortcode
• single-ff_c7_product.php for the product page wrapper
• archive-ff_c7_product.php for the product archive
